Helium — Browser Concept
Browsers have been making me feel uninspired for a while now. While everything else is being simplified, desktop browsers still cling to their old, personal interfaces.
The tab bar, for example, could have been made much lighter by now, and the back button could appear when hovering over the site itself—essentially turning the browser’s interface into an extension of the website.
Here are some thoughts captured in a couple of screens: a reimagining of bookmarks that always seem to get lost and a sleek, distinctive icon that would stand out on your MacOS dock.
